Prizba was created as a fishing port of Blato with several families. In the second half of the 20th century tourism is beginning to develop and the place is turning in that direction. Today is the most popular summer resort on the south side of the island of Korcula. It stretches along a coastline of about 5 kilometers. Prižba consists of several coves and peninsula Ratak. There are various restaurants, service shops for recreation and sports equipment and a few shops in Prizba. In the sea in front of Prizba about 800 m away from the shore are four islets: Vrhovnjak, Sridnjak, Crklica, Stupa and Čerin. They are unhibited part of nature preserved with beautiful places for swimming, diving and enjoying the sun or in the deep shade of pines.
